Five Ways To Advertise Affiliate Programs If You Dont Have A Mailing List
If you are looking for ways to promote affiliate products that do not require you to have your own website or mailing list, you have come to the right place. These methods all work - if you work them. So take a look and find one or two ideas that feel comfortable for you, and get started. The worst thing you can do is... do nothing! The only definite result of doing nothing is that your affiliate marketing dreams will never come true, so skim through this article, pick even one method and get cracking. It is not that hard.
1. LOTS OF PEOPLE LOOK FOR FAQs, SO CREATE ONE
I read recently that one successful online marketer
always includes a Frequently Asked Questions section in his autoresponder email
series. It seems that a lot of times people have
questions but are too embarrassed to ask.
Help them out by answering their questions and they may favor you with their purchase. Especially if you provide useful, credible information. Maybe they think their question is "dumb"
and who wants to ask a dumb question! So what this
guy does is write down all the questions he can
think of about the product, and answer them. It's
an easy way to put together a short but helpful
piece of promotion. Again, include your affiliate
link in the 'About the author' panel at the end.
2.
FIRE OFF A FRIENDLY TESTIMONIAL
One great way to get people interested in the product that you are promoting is to
write a review explaining how helpful it is. Explain
in simple terms how it helped you. Just one caution: Try not to overdo it with the praise for this ebook or product, whatever you are promoting. Reviews that are too glowing may sometimes cause readers to be a little suspicious. Nothing is 100 percent perfect.
The most important thing (apart from writing something helpful - it does not have to a first class essay - in fact, it is probably better if it is not - just write like you talk) is to include your affiliate link at the end. That is often called the Resource Box or the Author Bio Box. Whatever you call it, include a short motivating reason why your readers should click your link.

If you think you couldn't write to save yourself,
check this out. It's called The lazy man's guide
to writing articles and you'll find it here: http://eprofitnews.org/article-writing
It explains a simple system where the work of researching
and writing is reduced to a very do-able minimum.
If you're not that great on spelling, run your
article or report through a spell checker. Your
computer probably has one already.
3.
USE THE FREE RESOURCES OF BLOGGER.COM
Another good idea is to make a FREE blog at Blogger.com.
Post your review or article on the blog with your
affiliate link. After that, "ping" your
blog at Pingomatic.com and the search engines will
pick up your new blog site. Make a new post about
your affiliate product or something related to the
topic every 2-3 days, I would suggest.
I've seen my blog posts appear in Google within
as little as 9 minutes. You can search
for them at blogsearch.google.com
The great thing about blogging is... it's very
informal. Write like you talk. Forget your English
teacher. No need to worry about perfect sentences
or stuff like that. Just imagine your buddy is interested.
Now what would you tell him? -- then write it down
and post it to your blog.

4.
CONNECT WITH THE HUGE CROWDS AT THE FORUMS
Here's a list of internet marketing forums: http://eprofitnews.org/marketing/forums.html
Join one, or several of them. Read for a while
so you get the idea of how they work. Then start
posting. Either ask questions, or add a comment
into a discussion.
Include your link in your forum signature (find
the 'Edit your profile' section to insert or change
your signature). Every time you post a reply or
thread, your affiliate link or banner will automatically
get posted, resulting in many different people noticing your link and some of them clicking on it.
5.
PRESS RELEASES -- NOT AS SCARY AS YOU THOUGHT
Sounds a bit daunting, doesnt it? Well, after you
read a few press releases at PRweb.com, you'll see
it's not that bad. Find one you like, and use its
layout as a template for your own press releases.
Many of the sites which distribute press releases on the internet are free to use. Do a Google search and you will find some. Then read over several news releases that others have issued. When you find one you like, use it as a template for your own... though there is one more thing I should mention. Press releases are usually about your own product or website or your own business, so you may have to create an angle or a hook to make it your own somehow.
