Finding A Hot Market By Using Good Keywords
You've decided to start a new website to make some
money and so you want to find a hot market online.
The obvious next question is...
HOW TO FIND A HOT MARKET ?
If you're just starting out or doing this on a
budget, you will want a free way to find a hot market.
So let me tell you about GoodKeywords.
Go to www.GoodKeywords.com
and download their software at no cost. Yes, it
is genuine freeware! After you've installed it (simple!),
you type your main keyword or keyphrase into GoodKeywords
and click the Go button.
If you're connected to the internet, the software
will find you a collection of related keywords and
keyphrases. The screen then tells you what is happening.
GoodKeywords will also tell you how many times
each of those keyphrases has been searched for in
each of the search engines that you've selected
to query (they are named on the tabs along the top).
When it's finished, the bigger the number, the
more popular that term is with searchers. And that
can translate into you earning more money from your
new site.
HOW TO GET STARTED WITH GOODKEYWORDS ?
What if you don't have ANY idea of what to search
for in the first place?
You need something to get the ball rolling. You
need a way to stimulate a few possibilities for
you to check out. Here's what to do.
Here is a simple technique that will generate a
lot of possibilities to get you started.
Type in a wide-ranging single word like... "cure"...
or "remove"... or "find".
Or type in several wide-ranging words like... "how
to"... or "set up".
As it happens, the Overture.com site is not available
right now while I am writing so I'll use the Overture
UK site for our demo here.
I searched on the single word "prevent"
and GoodKeywords shows me 100 results, all the way
from...
"how to prevent bladder infection" with
342 searches
... down to "folliculitis leg prevent"
with only 8 searches. Notice with this one how the
words are not necessarily in the same order that
the 8 people doing that particular search would
have typed. No problem. That happens. And we don't
let it distract us.
One of these search terms will most likely capture
your attention and be worth investigating.
In this case, I rather like "prevent hair
loss" which comes in as result #3 on the GoodKeywords
results list. It had 270 searches.
So--- we set out to find a hot market using GoodKeywords.
And we've found one. Preventing hair loss. And that
was easy, wasn't it?
